BLUE JEAN QUILTS: You are invited to join the fun and fellowship of rag quilt creation the 1st Saturday morning of each month – we gather in the Fellowship Hall from 9:00am-noon. No sewing talent or tools required – just your presence! These quilts are donated to the Iowa Homeless Youth Centers. Baby size quilts, or larger, are also given for baptisms!
To anyone looking for a tangible way to express love and support for a friend who is going thru a "rough patch" there is a way to do this. The start of a Prayer Shawl ministry is underway. To make this meaningful the principle ingredient is, of course, people who knit or crochet (or want to learn) to craft a simple shawl that will be used as a gift of caring. Check with Pat Kreimeyer (964-3379) or Lois Stelpflug (964-4130) for details.
